magnesium one hundred fifty mg, vitamin d thousand iu

its started being proper cold these mornings. fall has left us, winter is here. im not all that enthused by it, i cant go outside and without needing a coat or multiple layers of shirts and sweaters to withstand this brutal toronto cold. the sky has this gray and cloudy tone to it as of recent, this over casted sky is too ugly to look at, so i look down as i walk the streets. its too warm to warrant snowfall, but its cold enough that when the rain falls, the temperature will drop a few centimeters.

i have had bad circulation in my hands since birth, which is odd since everyone else in my family is warm blooded. i get home in the winter and the first thing my mom does is hold my hand desperately trying to heat up my fingers. she says shes always worrying about me, whether ive eaten, whether my school is going well, whether my hands are cold, whether i wore the right shoes.

last winter was especially bad, i had left the house without gloves a few times and when i tell you my fingers could not move at times, the joints in my fingers were practically frozen for twenty minutes while i walked across the financial district rushing to class.

toronto of course, has an underground walking system, its not too expansive, but it does cover most of where i need to go. however, after being inside for seven to eight hours already, do i really want to spend my commute home in a stuffy tunnel? even if the largest tundra were to lay waste to the city, i think id still walk outside for a large portion of my commute. we need to go outside into fresh air, humans arent meant to sit inside all day and suffocate.

ive been really good about walking this year, and i stuck to it really well in october, i finished with twenty-four days out of thirty-one having walked above fifteen thousand steps. its a small achievement but i am proud of myself. the ego boost i get when i see that ive done more than three million steps since january alone is insane. walking has been helping me sleep better, ill often take a short walk before bed to tire myself out and get off the laptop. then i'll come home, eat some food, pop a magnesium tablet and fall asleep.

i took vitamin d last winter too. maybe its a placebo, so take my review with a grain of salt, but i dont recall seasonal depression hitting that intensely last winter. the chewable tablets are cheap and they dont hurt to take, especially for those of us who live in these intensely climatized regions. mine are citrus flavored and i take one in the morning since ive been waking up before the sun is up. maybe all my problems are just due to vitamin imbalances. ill be an essential oil dad one day, trust my word.
